Stalking rising sea run Arctic char. Thrill of a lifetime!

We have added a new packaged trip to the site with specific dates. Just last week we secured some dates on the Brunna River and the Huseyjarkvisl River but both those rivers are sold out for prime time. We managed to aquire the last prime time dates in these rivers to offer our clients. The dates we have for Brunna are August 11. - 17. and those will be sold in three day slots. The dates we have for Huseyjarkvisl are August 11. - 14. and as you can see those dates connect.

So we decided to put together an all inclusive package for a combination of these two rivers. This trip is for those of you that want to experience all the freshwater species fishing in Iceland has to offer. In Huseyjarkvisl, where the trip starts, we will target salmon, sea trout and brown trout. We fish there August 11. - 14. which are prime time dates in the river and then we move to the Brunna River where we target sea run Arctic char and brown trout in this absolutely stunning river. Those dates are also prime time dates for the sea run char.

This is light tackle fishing in medium sized rivers where stealth and a delicate approach is the name of the game. We'll stalk salmon with hitch tubes, small flies, floating lines and single handed rods. We're after the surface action and to see the salmon strike our flies. In Brunna we are targeting the hard fighting sea run Arctic char that never seem to stop fighting. Our main objective will be dry fly fishing for these silver bars of muscle with some nymphing and streamer fishing if conditions call for it.

The trip is designed so all you have to do is come over and fish without worries. We will pick you up at the airport upon arrival in Iceland and get you back there at the end of the trip. All you have to do is relax, enjoy beautiful meals prepared from our fresh ingredients, enjoy Icelandic nature, your guides and fishing buddies wonderful company and last but not least get to stalk Atlantic salmon, sea trout, sea run char and brown trout with light fly fishing tackle and sight fishing.
