Fishing in Iceland. An 82 cm sea trout caught in April 2011

Just a quick word about a possibility to go spring sea trout fishing in Iceland in April 2012. We have the rare extra rod or two for Huseyjarkvisl River in April. Problem is we don't have the availabilty set in stone just yet but what we are talking about is either one rod available for 4 days from April 20. - 24. starting in the afternoon on the 20th and ending at noon on the 24th.

The second slot is two rods for three days from April 27th - 30th. This could be a fantastic combination with for example Litla River or Brunna River to make it a 5-6 day sea trout fishing trip in Iceland.

I think we can safely say that the Huseyjarkvisl has for the last few years proven to be one of the very best sea trout rivers in Iceland and I have the pictures to prove it. A photo compilation from an April fishing trip there in 2010 can be seen below.
