The last time I wrote something here was August 17. and for that I apologize. The last 6 weeks have been so busy that I've barely had time to come home, wash the car and my gear to get ready for the next group of clients.

I did 5 days of mixed fishing in August followed by 6 days of a sea trout and brown trout combo. Right after that I did 3 days of salmon fishing followed by a 5 day adventure team building trip into the Icelandic highlands.

Then it was this trip I just came back from - a 10 day sea trout fishing trip with 9 full days of fishing. We caught 108 fish in total of all species - 80% sea trout. We caught at least 14 sea trout over 65 cm with the biggest at 77 cm.

Now it's time to sit down and work through the enquiries for 2012 and start setting up packaged trips as well as plan the next season. The 2011 season will go on for about 16 more days but for me it is office work from here on out. There is still a chance to come fishing in Iceland for both salmon and sea trout so drop me a line if you are keen to come and get a few last casts in before the end of the season.

By the way... As I am constantly on the road with clients I rely on my phone to do updates and post pictures and it is easiest on Facebook and Twitter. That photo attached I took with fast shutter speed of a 63 cm fresh sea trout that took a Black Ghost in Tungulaekur. I played around with the pic in Lightroom to pop up the colors. The photo gallery from my 10 day sea trout trip is online and can be found here:
