Custom made guided trips For the 2010 season we are proud to offer custom made guided fishing trips suiting our guests needs. We offer a range of different options for anglers to choose from in terms of prices, luxury, accommodation and food. For the more relaxed trip we suggest cabin accommodation with nice Icelandic meals made with local ingredients and for the more “hardcore” reality of Icelandic nature we suggest camping in the highlands, hiking and searching for the ultimate fly fishing experience. We can arrange permits and accommodation for a wide range of fishing areas all over Iceland so all you have to do is let us know your preferences and dreams and we give you our suggestions for a trip custom made for you.

Fishing in lakes Fishing in lakes is great fun and in Iceland there is an abundance of great lakes to fish. Most common fish that can be found in Icelandic lakes is the arctic char but there is also plenty of brown trout as well. Usual size for the arctic char in lakes is from about a pound and up to four pounds with the biggest ever lake caught char in Iceland being 22 pounds. For the brown trout the same applies although it tends to be bigger then char in the lakes.
![]() Mountain lake Fishing in the highlands In the highlands there are a few places where there are clusters of lakes with small streams running from lake to lake. These places are absolute magic to fish, especially in the evening and night. To be knee deep in calm water in the highlands of Iceland with rising fish all around you and the midnight sun above you is nothing short of paradise for anglers.
Fishing in small streams We know of a number of small streams that have great numbers of fish in them. These include streams that are only accessible on foot and others that have very easy access. Contact us with your needs and we will make suggestions for you.
