Itinerary:  Fishing in Iceland - The Brunna River August 10. Arrival in Iceland. Overnight at Viking Hotel just outside Reykjavik.
August 11. Leave Reykjavik in the morning. Drive to Huseyjarkvisl with guide. Lunch on the way. Start fishing at 16:00. Full board accommodation in lodge.
August 12. All day guided fishing in Huseyjarkvisl. Full board accommodation in lodge.
August 13. All day guided fishing in Huseyjarkvisl. Full board accommodation in lodge.
August 14. Fishing in Huseyjarkvisl until noon. Pack up and drive up the valley to Svarta River. Fish there in the afternoon, overnight at a farm B&B.
August 15. Pack up and leave the B&B. Drive to Brunna River. Start fishing in the afternoon. Full board accommodation in the lodge.
August 16. All day guided fishing in Brunna. Full board accommodation in lodge.
August 17. Fishing in Brunna until noon. Pack up and leave lodge for Akureyri domestic airport. Lunch on the way. Flight from Akureyri to Reykjavik. Pick up in Reykjavik and transport to either hotel or Keflavik airport depending on connecting outbound international flight.
Trip includes: 6 days guided fishing with 3 anglers sharing one guide. 7 nights full board accommodation excluding only dinner on August 10. Ground transport including airport pick up. Domestic flight from Akureyri to Reykjavik.

About this trip: Huseyjarkvisl is a river where you'll find salmon, brown trout and at that time in August sea trout. Brunna is famous for it's abundance of sea run Arctic char as well as some very big brown trout. So in one trip you have a chance of catching the Iceland Grand slam. These are prime time dates in both rivers with plenty of fresh fish running the rivers, salmon, sea trout and sea run char. Accommodation is in lodges that are located near the rivers.
