About us

Iceland angling travel is run by a parent company called I.A.T. which is owned and operated by Kristjan Benediktsson, also known as Stjani Ben. Our company blog can be found at www.icelandangling.wordpress.com.

I.A.T. is a young company founded in 2009 and as such still has a long way to go in securing exclusive rights to fishing areas, both lakes and rivers. All progress made will be announced as negotiations come through. We now have sealed cooperation with numerous fishing rights owners all over Iceland and can now offer a good variety of fishing areas for our guests.

We are a fully licensed travel agency with all neccessary legal permits from the Icelandic tourist board. We are also members of the Icelandic Travel Industry Association.

I.A.T. is also the parent company of Iceland adventure travel that specializes in non-angling adventure travel. That is not saying that angling is not an adventure.... Hunting and various other outdoor adventure is our main focus.
